Sergio Burgos is an industrial engineer with master’s and doctoral degrees from Texas A&M University with emphasis in Operations Research and Supply Chain Management. Over the past 20+ years at Smurfit WestRock, he has held diverse roles across operations, commercial and finance leadership in both the U.S. and Mexico. Drawing on his deep expertise in analytics, pricing optimization, and revenue management, Sergio helped create and lead the company’s pricing team in 2021, driving measurable impact and earning recognition from senior leadership. He is passionate about leveraging technology, predictive analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to align sales and finance through pricing. Outside of work, Sergio is an entrepreneur and co-owner of restaurants in the Houston area and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
